I don't see anything that's preventing you from hitting the F1 key in highsec while targeting another player. You just won't get your insurance payout anymore. Big deal. If you're serious about suicide ganking, do what we do, get BPOs for the ships and modules used and research them to minimize your costs. It also helps if your goal when suicide ganking is psychological gain rather than financial gain. We gank because carebear tears are the most valuable item in all of EVE, and we have ISK to burn to extract them. Additionally, the new Tier 3 battlecruisers are *perfect* suicide ganking ships.
How exactly do you intend to kill a highsec POS? This would take an incredible number of suicide ships, more then i suspect is even on sale in Jita |

Research is a major moneymaker. You can fund accounts and pay for fuel simply by running POS's, and selling researched BPO's
You can now create an infinite number of POS's in highsec and nobody can ever blow them up
Reguardless of how boring POS bashing is, or if you think Research towers arnt valid targets. The fact remains they are 100% immune to pvp
That is not the eveonline i signed up for. When i started playing it was because of its hardcore pvp rules. Not because i could waltz around carefree |

Wrong.
You 100% can not blow up a Highsec POS anymore. They are 100% immune to wardecs. The only way to kill a Highsec POS is to suicide gank it. Im not sure anyone has the resources and time required to suicide gank a POS Refer to the image linked above for proof that highsec pos's are 100% immune to wardecs. |

Thread is kind of getting derailed. My point was, what is the point of getting excited over the fancy new ships and images, when the game itself is degrading into something entirely different.
Its not just the Highsec War Immunity, its not just the lack of insurance for suicide gankers, its ALL of it added up. Its a constant movement towards turning eve into Hello Kitty in Space |
